With the co-operation of a family owned timber milling operation in Fiji we set out to supply you the best Mahogany for electric guitars.

      The Timber has been cut with Les Paul guitars in mind, but oversized to accommodate other guitars such as Fender and Prs. The blanks are not glued, but single piece cut from mature Honduran Mahogany plantation grown in Fiji.

      We also sell quarter sawn timber for guitar necks, the billets will yield 4 Les Paul style single piece necks. For Fender and other style necks the yield could be more.

      The timber will produce lightweight resonant guitars in the range of 8 1/2 lb for a Les Paul. The mahogany was grown from seeds sourced from Honduras and planted by the British in the 50‘s leaving a legacy for the people of Fiji.

      The species was used in the production of the 1959 Gibson Les Paul, they where lightweight guitars, made from Honduran Mahogany, Eastern maple, and Brazilian rosewood. Buying a 1959 Les Paul is well beyond the budget of most people. For home builders, and luthiers  faithfully replicating these guitars we have an invaluable resource in this beautiful Mahogany.
